Philip Mcln-tyre, Mcln-tyre, arrested last Saturday ln New York on tho arrival of a steamship from Vera Cruz, upon the charge of passing a worthless worth-less draft for JI0 on a bank ln the City of Mexico. Is wanted in Butto and Ka-llspe.ll Ka-llspe.ll on a similar charges, bogus drafts purporting to be drawn by tho LaPollette bank of LaFolletto. Tenn.. upon tho First National bank of Chicago, for ?250, passed hero and In Kalispoll. Philip Mclntyre'u career in Montana was novel. Tho alleged swindler appeared with excellent credentials, apparently signed by a Supremo court Justice of Tennessee. Melntyre represented himself to bo the attorney of the Tenncsseo Coal and Iron company. Local attorneys Imposed Im-posed on ln turn gave Melntyre letters of recommendation to Kallspcll members of the bar and to other attorneys throughout through-out the Northwest.
