Fourteen boarders board-ers In the Commercial hotel at Florlston, which Is owned by the Florlston Pulp nnd Paper company, became boisterous whllo eating yesterday and began throwing dishes at ono another. Manager Glenn of tho placo told them to quit nnd they throw him from a second story window. Injuring him seriously. Then they tore the carpets from tho lloors and with t) o stoves nnd other articles of furnlturo throw them Into the street. Thoy raided the barroom, breaking tho fixtures and carrying away tho liquor. They destroyed tho billiard tables and broke every window In the house. Enraged citizens drove them from tho building, but tho rlotors then rushed up the mountain nnd hurled largo rocks down tho mountain eido. nearly demolishing demolish-ing tho houso. Twelve of tho r-en Invo boon arrested and taken to Truckee, Cal. Four escaped. |
