A Washington dispatch, dated 10th, to tho St. Louis Globe, says: It is learned from official circles, that there is no truth in tho published statement that tho war department contemplates to removejto some other point the greater portion of the United iMates tbrcea now stationed in the States of Keu.ueky North Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee. Orders will be issued in a day or two, removing the 7th cavalry to a point west of tho MissU- sippi river, probably to the western frontier of Texas. The war department depart-ment is of tho opinion that there are nitrioieut troops in tho vicinity of Utah tor all practical purposes, and does no; propose to order any moro in that direction.
