The deficiency appropriation appro-priation bill will soon bo reported. Other appropriation bills are so far advanced that they may all be passed this week. The senate is similarly crowded, having in addition to others of importance, im-portance, the nouse bill for the distribution distri-bution of the Geneva award. Although only two weeks remain of the present congress, tho time is considered sufficient suffi-cient for the transaction of the requisite re-quisite publio business, besides acting on tho reports of special committees, including those affecting the character of members of congress; also the re ports oi mu vaiuwen, jis tou uuu new Orleans cases. Both branches will meet an hour earlier than heretofore, and also hold evening sessions. The majority major-ity of members of congress are opposed to an extra session, nor will the President Presi-dent convoke an extra session unless some extraordinary and now ucforseen neccssiiy renders it necessary.
