Show WJStfL What is the best way to beat the heat? Many people believe that a trip to the mountains is the best solution. Others drink numerous bottles of cold drinks and chew ice cubes. Others go to the beach or to northern climes. There is a unanimity of opinion that going swimming is one of the best ways to overcome the hot days. The students of the Davis Swim School, under the tutelage tutel-age of Mary Landen, have been doing well all summer. Many young pupils are learning learn-ing valuable lessons, like not to be afraid of the water and to float and jump off of the side of the pool. Last Thursday night students stu-dents of the present course were given their awards and were given the opportunity to demonstrate some of their skills. Among the students were Sheldon Laird, Julie Banger-ter, Banger-ter, Tamson Taylor, Crystal and Misty Tobler, Ryan Perkins, Per-kins, and Angie and April Der-bidge. Der-bidge. The young women of the Second and Seventh Wards, their mothers, and bishoprics of the vards and leaders were given an opportunity to share in the demonstration of the achievements of the girls in their "Sharing is Love" night.
