' ' ' I HARVEST In order to help fulfill a chapter chap-ter goal, members of View-mont's View-mont's FFA are spending part of their summer time back at school Instead of reading and writing, though, these students stu-dents are gardening. THE CHAPTER is striving to be able to help pay the way for two of its members to attend the national FFA convention con-vention in Kansas City this fall. Money brought in from the sales of tomatoes and peppers pep-pers raised on the chapter plot will be used for this purpose. Members of Viewmont High School's Future I'arrncrs of ; America are hoping to harvest a plentiful croj) of tomatoes and p(-ppers from the chapter's garden plot. Besides working on a chapter chap-ter project, these students also have projects or jobs of their own. Experience gained while working on these projects helps prepare them for an agricultural agri-cultural career. |
