Show Helicopter Pilot Dies in Crash In Montana KAYSVILLE A helicopter helicop-ter pilot from Kaysville was killed last week near Red . Rock, Mont., about 30 miles south of Dillon, when the craft he was flying lost power while taking off and slammed into the ground. HE WAS identified as William Wil-liam W. Dodd, 47, 966 Thorn-field Thorn-field Rd., Kaysville. The county coun-ty coroner at the scene said the helicopter, owned by Rocky Mountain Helicopters, was being used in the area to do seismographic work and collect col-lect core samples. Witnesses said the helicop-. helicop-. ter bad landed and refueled. It took off and seconds later lost power and plunged to the ground, catching fire. GROUND CREWS extinguished exting-uished the flames and pulled the pilot from the craft.
