Show Honored 1 IVO EAMES . Ivo Eames is saluted as or citizen of the month, an volunteer at the Golden rs Center. He works as a iteer friendly visitor from center, visiting at least ' :n people regularly with an age age of these people of ears. R. EAMES says it is a real sure to visit and listen to e citizens as they relate ex-;nces ex-;nces of their lives and the they have accomplished ng their lives. ;lephone reassurance and ut services are also part of Eames assistance when i services are needed. He volunteers as a guide at Genealogical Library in Lake City for one day i week. R. EAMES has lived in ntiful for the past 25 years, lived in Preston, Ida. re he was born and later 1 in California. He studied culture at Utah State Uni-ity Uni-ity and did graduate work ic University of Southern I'ornia and then did some k at Weber State College, 'h ile living in Idaho, he a 4-H club leader and all wys in his group won the R and R scholarships and attended the University of Idaho. HE WORKED for 30 years with the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a county supervisor, super-visor, district supervisor and state director of Farms and Home Administration. He has traveled and worked in South America, Denmark and Italy and traveled in Sweden, Spain and England. He and his wife Estella live at 45 E. Wicker Lane. They have two daughters, Carolyn E. Bullock and Elizabeth E. Moore, who live with their families in the area. MR. EAMES says that doing volunteer work is a very rewarding re-warding and satisfying occupation occu-pation and believes that many more volunteers are needed to bring some pleasure to many of the senior citizens.
