LESTER KNIGHTON Celebrate 50th The family of Mr. and Mrs. Lester (Lucile) Knighton are honoring them for their golden wedding anniversary on April 19 at the Bountiful 35th Ward at 455 South 1200 East from 7 to 9 p.m. THE COUPLE was married April 21, 1930 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They set up housekeeping in Bountiful and have lived in Bountiful their entire married life. Both have been active in the LDS Church. Lester served many years as secretary to the ward High Priest group. Lucile is a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and has taught young boys and girls in the ward. Together they have always sung in the ward choir. They also served a stake mission mis-sion together. THEY NOW enjoy working in the temple and playing with grandchildren. They usually raise a big garden in the summer sum-mer and gain great pleasure in sharing with friends and neighbors neigh-bors the produce they raise. They have one son and three daughters, Clyde S., West Bountiful; Mrs. Wayne (Ruth) Crook, Beaver; Mrs. Reid (Nelva) MerrelL- American Fork; and Mrs. Ferrin (Esther) Rex, Richfield. |
