Show ESostage Hearing Set For lYlay 6th LAYTON A hearing to determine whether or not a Layton man will be extradited to Colorado to stand trial for forgery w ill be held May 6 at 3 p.m. in Fourth Circuit Court in Layton. COLE M ANGUS, 22, of 109 Roger Ave., Layton, was arrested in Layton after he was identified from television pictures pic-tures shown in Craig, Colo., of the hostages as they were released re-leased Friday morning after spending some hours as captives cap-tives of two gunmen who had attempted to rob Kowley Drug Store. Personnel in Moffat County Sheriffs Department said they recognized Mangus as the suspect sus-pect in the forgery charge pending in Colorado. MANGUS WAS arraigned last Monday in Layton Fourth Circuit Court and Judge Douglas Doug-las Cornaby set May 6 for pre- liminary hearing on the extradition extra-dition charge. The defendant has been employed in Davis County the past 14 months as a welder. |
