' ' - v ; , . - ' " WOWWEEK The All Girls Conference (WOW Week Women of the World) was planned and implemented by the above young ladies and their leaders from the Centerville South Stake. THE THEME of their conference is "We Have Just Begun." Special words to a song were written by Jody Sorenson to help carry out the theme. The week is emphasizing the girls personal per-sonal progress-program. The mothers will also be setting goals in Relief Society for that week, or sometime in the near future. Their conference is planned for the week of Oct. 21 through Oct. 27, which began .. with a fireside on Sunday, ! ..' Oct. 21 in the Centerville South Stake Center. Barbara Richards was the special speaker. The girls and their parents attended. THE GIRLS held special family home evening concerning con-cerning goals with their own . --, families on Family Night. : There will be special lessons i and activities on the night of ; each ward's Mutual. The : ! week will be culminated on ';! Saturday, Oct. 27 with a i special program, beginning Planning and carrying out WOW Week are these young ladies and their leaders from Centerville South Stake. Not in picture, Sally Hollinshead. at 9 a.m. followed by workshops and a luncheon. The workshops will be "Close Encounters of the Fourth Kind" (dating panel); "Essence of Eve" (How to . build self confidence with helpful hints on makeup-hair styling and wardrobe - Sally Hollingshead); "Passport to Exaltation" (Celestial Marriage - Bea Brown); "When Life Hands You a Lemon - Make Lemonade" (How to cope with disappointments disap-pointments and trials - Dawn Bain). |
