Show I: - . ..' ' I: Cj W-iW-S PRESENTS FLAG ! . j Bountiful Rotary's weekly meeting took on an international interna-tional flavor last Thursday night in the Pine Room at Servus Drug. Miss Christine Robertson, a Rotary ! Exchange Student from Baulkham Hills, Australia i and Bountiful mayor, Elmer Barlow, appeared as guests. MISS Robertson will have been in Bountiful one year when she returns to her home in January. During her stay here she has had four sets of American parents. For periods of three months she has been entertained in the homes of Senator and Mrs. Jack M. Bangerter, Lt. Col. and Mrs. Edmund E. Hansen, Dr. and Mrs. Ralph T. Larsen and Mr. and Mrs. Theodore M. Peterson. Ail these- gentlemen aTe members of Rotary Clubs in Bountiful and Centerville. HIGHLIGHT of the evening was a presentation by Miss Robertson of an Australian community flag to Mayor Barlow. The mayor was also given a letter of greeting from the. president of the Baulkham Hills Shire Council. Christine Robertson, right side of flag, recently presented the Australian Aus-tralian flag to Mayor Elmer Barlow. She has been an exchange student here for nearly one year. Four sets of parents are, 1 to r, Connie and Jack Bangerter, Edmund and Delores Hansen, Ralph and Sharon Larsen and Ann and Ted Peterson. |
