Show t Dan Mitchell was hospitalized hospi-talized in the IDS Hospital for tests. He will undergo surgery some time in November. Kaye Mitchell Dushane and husband Larry had a good time as they attended the party for translators and Spanish visitors at the Church Office Building Friday night. The Davis Monson family has been having a wonderful time during the past two weeks. Jedd met the plane of a friend, Neils S. Ova Anderson, Ander-son, from Odense, Denmark. He is the second counselor in the Odense Stake. Coinciden-tally, Coinciden-tally, Jedd found out that Neils was a friend of Stan Madsen's parents. They met him when they were on a mission to Denmark a few years ago. And even more coinciden-tally coinciden-tally Kelly Monson and Stan's daughter Yvette have been best friends for many years. Jedd Monson has gone back to school at the Y. and is happy to be teaching at the Language Lan-guage Training Center. He is also majoring in accounting. The Monsons had a special night on the Sunday after conference. Their son-in-law Clare, husband of daughter Kathy, gave a private showing show-ing of his one-man show of Joseph Smith to the Stan Madsens and children, to two of Jedd's missionary friends" Elder Turner and Elder Pierce, as well as Cathy Moss and Carol Chipman. And Jedda and David had a special wedding anniversary as Dave surprised his bride of 27 years by taking her to the Hotel Utah for the night. That was where they had their honeymoon and they have tried to go back to dinner or something each year. Congratulations to Deanna and Rick Watts, who have a new baby daughter. They now have three daughters and the family is living in Rolling Homes. The Primary children of the First Ward are having fun with their "Good Deed Tree." When they do a good deed, they tell what they have done to their teachers. Their names are then placed on a leaf to be placed on the two trees, one for the Senior Primary and one for the Junior Primary. The Primary children of the Second Ward have been sending send-ing money to the missionaries to be used to buy Books of Mormon. The Eugene Salmons went deer hunting down at Fair-view. Fair-view. John and Myra DeWaal had a good time as they visited with Mel and Gail Salmon for a few days last week. They are residents of Spring City.
