Show (HMD 7 CtoD I tale ReadiM "" LOGAN - Lucile Reading of Centerville will receive Utah State University's Distinguished Dis-tinguished service award Friday, Nov. 2 in Logan. MRS. READING graduated from USU in 1931 with a bachelors degree in arts and sciences. She is among six distinguished Utahns to be honored for her service to USU and the community during dur-ing USU's homecoming. The service awards will be presented by USU Pres. Stanford Cazier at a banque' in the Taggart Student ' Center. Mrs. Reading served as a . member of the General Primary Presidency of the LDS Church and for the past eight years she has been the managing editor of the "Friend" magazine. SHE HAS been actively involved in-volved in community organizations or-ganizations including Utah State University Alumni Council, South Segamore r i 1 LUCILE READING Camp of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, LMA Club of Centerville, Cen-terville, South Davis Welfare Council, secretary of South Davis Chamber of Commerce and president of the Davis District of Utah Federation of Women's Clubs. She has also been a member of the board of trus- . tees of the Primary : Children's Hospital and -president of the South Davis Community Hospital. She is. currently the secretary of the ' ; Lakeview Hospital Board. ' ' ' MRS.
