Show By SUE TRENCH Winter is rapidly descending descend-ing upon Viewmont and bringing with it a frosty chill that seems to affirm the end of the football season. THE WOODS Cross Wildcats Wild-cats downed the Vikes by a score of 26-14 on our last " . season game Friday, but our faithful team fought on through rain and sleet and showed us once again that we, in fact, have the most determined deter-mined football team in the state. Thanks are in order for the team for their great spirit that made this season such a great success! WE ARE well into test week, but that doesn't mean that it's all work and no play! Actually, it's far from it. On Oct. 25, the matinee will be held for the school play. It will also be performed on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. in the VHS auditorium. The -"play is' entitled "My Three Angels," a comedy, that is suitable for the whole family. The cast includes Curtis York, Sally Van Orden, Laura Tietijen, Karla Monson, Robert , Anderson, Jeff Grover, Bryan Holland, Steve Green, Clark lrwing and Cari Blecker. The play is directed by Glen Cammomile along with assistant director, Michelle Wanner. WELL, THAT fateful day is drawing near for those lucky guys who have been asked to "Chick's Pick" on Oct. 26. But don't be disappointed if you didn't get asked this time because this is only one of the monthly chick's picks. As for those of you who did get asked, enjoy yourselves! And, don't worry whether or not she will try to kiss you goodnight - just tell them that you're not that kind of a guy and say goodnight. Halloween is just around the corner and the senior class has provided the VHS studentbody with a way to get into the true Halloween spirit by coming on over to their spook alley. It will be held Oct. 29-31. |
