Show Lifetime Cedar City Resident Dies Aiter Long Illness I John Edward Houchen, 67, lifelong life-long resident of Cedar City, died at his home late Tuesday following follow-ing a lingering illness. Mr. Houchen was born in Cedar City on Sept. 2, 1886, a son of Henry and Harriett Smith Houchen. Hou-chen. He was educated in the schools of Cedar City, and on June 9, 1921, he married Fern Ashworth of Beaver, who survives sur-vives him. They had resided here since. funeral services will be conducted conduct-ed at 2 p. m. in the Third Ward chapel, and burial will be in , the Cedar City cemetery, under the direction of the Southern Utah Mortuary. j Friends may call at the mor-tuaiy mor-tuaiy from 6 to 8 p. m.
