Show Margaret Simpson dies in Provo Margaret. Price Simpson, age $4, of Orem died Dec. 31, 1981 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo of cancer. She was born March 31, 1917 in Vernal to Joseph C. and Delia Ab-planalp Ab-planalp Price. She married Ralph E. Simpson Feb. 27, 1941 at the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She received her education in Roosevelt where she graduated from high school in 1936. She lived in Vernal and Bennett before moving to Roosevelt. Margaret was a member of the LDS church Orem 90th Ward. She , served an LDS mission to the central states in 1938. She has served as mission secretary, director of the libraries for the Sharon West Stake for several years, relief society counselor and teacher. She and her husband operated Simpson Market in West Provo for 16 years. She is survived by her husband of Orem, three sons and two daughters: Kent R. and Richard P. Simpson, both of Orem; Ralph J. Simpson, Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Roger (Sherri) Behunin, Torrey; Mrs. John (Sue) Mineer, Ogden; six grandchildren, one brother and three sisters: John Price, Maeser; Mrs. Ray (Alice) Jenkins, Vernal, Mrs. Birch (Eva) Boise, Provo, and Mrs. Lee (Donna) Ralphs, Springville. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Orem 90th Ward Chapel. Interment was in the Hooper City Cemetery. |
