JAY DON DAVIS Newly Married Couple Honored at Reception Friday Eve Pamela Ann and Jay Don Davis were honored during a reception held in Cedar City Friday evening. even-ing. The newlywed party was given by parents of the new, bride, Mr. and Mrs. Verdun K. Glazier. Scene for the event was the L. D. S. 5th Ward Relief Society So-ciety room. The couple were married in Las Vegas, Nev. at the Little Church of the West October 13. Jay Don is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oleen Davis of Cedar City. For the nuptial party the bride chose a white brocaded wedding gown styled to ballerina length with a sweetheart neck. Long white bridal gloves complemented complement-ed the short sleeves of the dress. A veil of French illusion fell from a garland of flowers fitted to the crown and studded with artificial Jewels. Pamela held a bridal bouquet created from carnations car-nations and gardenias. Attendant, Verdean Gardner and Siierrie Paddock wore red and white corsages in keeping with the chose.1 color theme Petite Tamara Davis stood as a flower girl and held a basket full of flowers. In line with the bridal party was Ashley Paddock, who acted as best man. Ushers were Kay Davis and Guy Petty. During the evening Charolett Davis greeted guests at the guest book while Mrs. Dee Davis, Mrs. Gary Davis and Mrs. David Bon-zo Bon-zo were In charge of the gift room. Kitchen hostesses were Mrs. Evelyn Adams, Mrs. Claude Glazier and Mrs. DeVon Jackson. Mary Llvermore and Linda Con-die Con-die were serving- The couple are currently living In Cedar City at the Dee Davis residence. |
