Show Washington Caddie Neilson Lydia Stephens Reporters Mr. and Mrs. George Hadley of Los Angeles were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Neilson Saturday. Satur-day. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Neilson returned to Los Angeles with them to attend the wedding of their son, LaVar, to Betty Nottingham Not-tingham of Los. Angeles, which will take place July 29. Mrs. Edith Daughenbaugh and baby returned to their home at Los Angeles Wednesday after visiting here for several weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Hall. Horace Reidhead accompanied her to Los Angeles. Rodney Neilson, Roy Nisson and Junior Neilson spent from Sunday until Tuesday at Bryce Canyon. Dot Iverson, who has been attending at-tending Henegar's Business college, col-lege, came in from Salt Lake City Saturday to spend a few weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter H. Iverson. Mrs. Roka Paxrrian was hostess to Just-A-Mere club Wednesday afternoon at her home in the Washington field. Rook was the diversion with Mrs. Iva Harmon and Estella Tanner winning prizes. A swim in the canal was enjoyed by members before returning home. Mrs. Frank Kershaw of North Hollywood was a visitor Thursday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orman Wilkins. She is now in Roosevelt visiting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Williams and children are spending a few weeks in Kanarra with Mr. William's Wil-liam's parents. Mrs. C. C. Hartwell and son, Thurlow, of Salt Lake City arrived ar-rived here Thursday from San Francisco where they have been seeing the fair, to .spend a few days with her brother, Thos. B. Robinson and family. Mrs. Bessie Hamilton of San Francisco is a visitor at the home of her mother, Mrs. H. M. Jolley. Mrs. May Sandberg entertained the I.O.M. club at her home on Thursday afternoon. , Mrs. Winnie Seegmiller of St. George was hostess to the Friendly Friend-ly card club at the home of her mother, Mrs. William Tobler on Wednesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Cooper and son, Jay, left Wednesday for Meadow after spending several weeks here with relatives. Beth Stephens and Paul Tolton came in from Salt Lake City on Saturday and spent a couple of days at the home of Beth's mother, Mrs. L. Stephens. Mrs. Joseph Judd and family of Cedar City are spending a few weeks here with relatives. Jene and Paul Judd have returned re-turned from a visit with their father, J. C. Judd of Los Angeles. Mrs. Matilda Andrus spent a few days here las week with her mother, Mrs. B. K. Sandberg before going to Salt Lake City where she is now visiting with her son, Dolph and family. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Weston and family of Los i Angeles arrived here Tuesday to visit with Mrs. Weston's mother, Mrs. M. W. Adams. Mrs. Fay Iverson entertained the Pinochle club at her home Tuesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Israel Pace of St. George were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Sandberg on Monday. Thora Tobler, who is employed in St. George spent July 24 here. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Frei and Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Nisson and daughter, Phylllis spent Sunday at Pine Valley. Thelma Neilson returned last week from Nephi where she has been the guest of Mrs. Bigler for a couple of weeks. Mrs. Henry Holt was taken to the McGregor hospital Thursday for treatment. |
