Show Santa Clara .Mrs. Eliza Graff Reporter All of the old people here were honored on July 24 by the bishopric bishop-ric with a nice treat of melons and a free picture show. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Ilafen spent July 24 in Cedar City. The D.U.P. entertained with an interesting program in our sacrament sac-rament meeting in honor of the pioneers. Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan Graff and two children left Saturday for Escalante to spend the holiday. Mr. Frei, our former bishop, left Sunday for Salt Lake City to visit friends for a few days. Mrs. George Graff has not been well for the past several days. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Condie returned re-turned to their home in Provo after spending 10 days here. Chester Graff from Provo made a business trip here last Saturday evening. The waltz contest at the Santa Rosa pavilion Saturday night was reported to be very successful, Mr. and Mrs. Claud Frei won first prize and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Mathis of St. George won second. Mrs. Jake Beecham, who was thrown from a car some time ago, injuring her leg, is reported as improving now. Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Graff and two children spent July 24 in Enterprise. |
