Mrs. Carpenter was the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and .Mrs. Joseph Randall Ran-dall and came to Utah when a small child. Her parents were among the early pioneers to Dixie anil her father was well known for his many years of service in Hie St. George Temple. Annie Randall was one of the popular-young popular-young ladies of St. George and her marriage to Joseph W. Carpenter, Car-penter, publisher of one of Dixie's earliest newspapers, was an outstanding out-standing social event of that clay. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. May Slralton, of Hurricane; Mrs. Leah Hodges, of Los Angeles; Mrs. Paul Zamaloa, of Las Vegas; Mrs. Ethel Davis, of Idaho and two sons, Edgar Carpenter of Central and Delbert Carpenter, of Salt Lake City, also several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; one half brother, Brig Randall, of St. George and a brother, Henry Randall, of Enterprise. |
