Show St. George CCC Camp James Logue has been granted an honorable discharge to accept employment near his home in Kentucky. A softball game between the "Rookies" and the camp team on Sunday morning resulted in a 11-4 victory for the old boys. The game uncovered several future j stars and showed that organization organiza-tion and practice usually wins. Sixty-one replacements from the j reception center at Lebanon, Ohio, arrived in camp last Thursday i night. The new group is from Toledo, Ohio, and vicinity. Follow-! Follow-! ing their arrival the boys were ' given an orientation course to I acquaint them with the CCC and , assigned to work on the Quail canyon Dugway. Dr. Lorenzo McGregor is acting act-ing as camp surgeon during the absence of Doctor Whalen, who is in Ogden on sick leave. Capt. Alvin Sessions, district inspector, conducted the regular monthly inspection of the main and spike camp last week and found conditions very satisfactory. |
