Show Horace Thompson Tells Of His Work in Australia Horace Thompson was the principal prin-cipal speaker at the west ward sacrament services Sunday, giving an interesting report of his missionary mis-sionary labors during the past three years spent in Australia. Special musical selections were furnished by the Kenworthy brothers. The west ward plans a special program for next Sunday with the Temple ordinance workers to provide the numbers. The east ward remembered the pioneers in their Sunday evening program. Mrs. Agatha W. McAllister Mc-Allister read four poems on the settlement of Dixie from the pen of her father, Charles L. Walker. Mrs. Lizzie Riding sang "Hard Times", the relief society choir' joining in the chorus. Mrs. Josephine Jose-phine J. Miles paid tribute to the women of early Dixie and Lorin Little gave a brief survey of the labors of men in the settlement of this southern part of the state. |
