Application Made An application for water facilities facili-ties aid has been made to the Soil Conservation service by the Pahranagat valley soil conservation conserva-tion district. The application states that approximately 30 miles of irrigation ditches will have to be relocated with intakes in-takes and other facilities installed. install-ed. Provision will likewise have to be made to carry off excess water during the winter months. Construction under the water facilities program is handled or supervised by the Soil Conservation Conserva-tion service, Creel said. Assistance is given only on the condition that farmers and ranchers adopt sound land use management plans worked out with the help of state and federal agencies. Where loans are needed to carry out the work or to repay the government for construction and installation of various facilities, faci-lities, such loans will be advanced by the U.
