Show Bruce McConkie to Be Speaker at Stake Quarterly Conference Plans have been completed for the quarterly conference of Cedar Stake, to be held Saturday and Sunday, president Elwood Corry reports. Elder Bruce K. McConkie of the first council of Seventy, will represent the general authorities of the L D S church at the conference con-ference sessions. The conference will open with a special missionary meeting to be held at the L D S Institute at 6:30 p. m. Saturday, for a dis cussion of missionary methods. Those requested to attend this session, President Corry states, i include the stake presidency, the high council, all bishoprics, all presidents of Melchizedek Priest- j hood quorums, state missionary I president, all stake missionaries, ! stake executives of the Sunday School, M. I. A., Primary and I Relief Society. j Immediately following this i meeting there will be a gathering of all friends and investigators, also to be held in the Institute, j The Book of Mormon Pageant j will be presented at the First ward chapel Saturday evening. General sessions will be held at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. Sunday, and the final session will be an M. I. A. meeting at 7:30 p. m. j Sunday. The two Sunday general sessions ses-sions of the conference and the M I A program will be held In the Third ward chapel. |
