Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS Bishop Stanley Smith and his daughter Anna, attended L D S conference at Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Halterman and family of American Fork spent Easter visiting with relatives rela-tives in Enoch, Midvalley and Cedar City, during the week. Glen Halterman has been released re-leased from the Veterans hospital hospi-tal in Salt Lake City where he has been for many months. However, How-ever, it will be necessary for him to return occasionally for physical phy-sical checkups. Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Gibson spent Saturday and Sunday in Minersville with Mrs. Gibson's mother who has been ill. The Cedar City Second ward will present a three-act comedy drama In Enoch next Tuesday, April 21. Everyone is invited. The proceeds from the play will go into the church building fund. Mrs. Alene Chamberlain of Orderville Or-derville spent Tuesday here vis iting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Gibson. Mrs. Cora Condle and son James of Cedar City were speakers speak-ers at sacrament meeting here Sunday. James recently returned from an L D S mission in Europe. Primary conference was held Sunday night. A very nice program pro-gram was presented and a large crowd was in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Garrel Murie's daughter Linda is home after spending a week in the hospital with pneumonia. Mrs. James Smith is home after af-ter spending a few days in the hospital where she underwent surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Armstrong of Provo visited in Enoch Friday and Saturday. Richard (Bud) Halterman was here from Provo over the week end. He came to get his wife and son, who have been visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Adams, in Parowan. |
