Maxwell, Palmer Vie For President at Cedar High School The annual election of student body officers at the Cedar City high school will be held early next week, with a president, vice president and secretary to be named for the 1953-54 school year. Nominations have been completed com-pleted with Billy Maxwell and Roland Palmer, named as opponents oppon-ents for the position of student body president. Maxwell heads the "Big Three" party, and Palmer Pal-mer the "PIP" party, the latter name being a combination of the first letters of the names of the three candidates. Supporting Maxwell will be Janet Wasden, candidate for vice president, and Opal Bauer, candidate can-didate for secretary. Completing the "Pip" party slate, are Mar-gene Mar-gene Isom and Carol Ann Tarry, vice president and secretary candidates, can-didates, respectively. Class representatives to the student council are elected by the classes at the opening of school in September.
