Show Model United Nations Meet Attended by BAC Speech Sudents Nine Branch Agricultural college col-lege students, In company with Prof. Twain Tippetts, head of the speech department at the college,, col-lege,, left Tuesday afternoon to participate in a Model United Nations meeting. The three-day conference opened this morning, April 16, and will continue through Saturday. Sponsored by the Western States section of the Junior United Unit-ed Nations, the conference is being held on the campus of the University of California, at Berkeley. Colleges and universities universi-ties from all the western states will participate in the model UN meetings. BAC students will represent Mexico in the general assembly and will also have representation representa-tion on the trusteeship council and on the economics and social council. Participating in the conference are Dorothy Rencher and Winona Price, New Harmony; LaVcrna Laub, St. George; Geraldine Rol-lo, Rol-lo, Val Clark and David Brown, Cedar City; Bill Crane, Circle-vllle; Circle-vllle; Edward D. Harris, Delta, and Stanford Mathews, Antimony. |
