Show Order of Eastern Star Honors Guests At Annual Visitation The Cedar Chapter 20, Order of Eastern Star annual Visitation banquet was held Monday, April 13, at El Escalante hotel. Tables were decorated in keeping with the red and gold color theme. In each guest place was a red rose corsage. Mrs. Robert Smith, assisted by Mrs. Roy Lundgren were in charge of the banquet arrangements. arrange-ments. The guests were received by Mrs. H. M. Lndsley, worthy matron. (.rand officers present were Mrs. Margaret Deason, worthy grand matron; Clifton G. Harris, worthy grand patron; Verna House, associate grand matron; Kenneth Lambert, associate grand patron; Naomis P. Hiskins, grand secretary; Avis Manstein, grand conductress; George B. tioach, ass'xiate grand conductress; conduct-ress; Bessie R. Harris, grand chaplain; Theresa H. brown, grand lecturer; Doris Blampede, grand marshal; Ila Lombard, grand Ada; Elizabeth Oss, grand Kuth; Margarea Doidge, grand Electa; Clarence Paxton, grand sentinal. Past grand officers included in-cluded Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ran-die, Ran-die, and Mrs. Carl Aohn, with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ray of the grand chapter of Nevada. Following the banquet the Cedar Ce-dar Chapter 20 met at the Masonic Ma-sonic temple to receive the grand oliicers and hold initiation of new members. A trio, consisting of Mrs. Criss Mason, Jr., Mrs. William Kennedy and Mrs. Har-land Har-land Durand sang "Always", accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Ernest Boyne. j Tokens of remembrance were' presented to Mrs. Deason andi other grand officers from thej chapter. A social climaxed the evening with Ira McClure, Harlie Ends-ley, Ends-ley, Ralph Box and Dan Gillies hosts to the chapter members and guests at a luncheon. |
