Kiwanians to Sponsor Broadway Stage Hit "Kiss Me Kate" "Kiss Me Kate" a musical stage production straight from the Broadway Stages of New York will be presented in Cedar City under the sponsorship of the Kiwanis club on May 27, it was announced by Therol McAr-thur, McAr-thur, club president. The production will be staged at the public school auditorium, it was revealed, with a limited seated capacity for such an outstanding out-standing show. However, because of the stage lighting and curtain cur-tain arrangements, it was necessary neces-sary to have a theatrical stage for the presentation, Mr. McAr-thur McAr-thur stated. The original cast of the Broadway Broad-way production will appear on the Cedar City stage in one of the most outstanding programs of the communiy's history. Music Mu-sic for the production is by that fabulous Cole Porter. It is reported that all seats will be reserved for the evening so that those who purchase tickets tic-kets in advance will be assured of seats. Costumes, lighting, scenery, the entire production will be handled by the professional performers per-formers and stage hands of New York in order that a finished pro- duction can be presented to Cedar Ce-dar City residents, Mr. McArthur stated. Advance ticket sales will begin be-gin in the very near future and theatrical fans are advised to make their reservations early for this outstanding event.
