Show KANARRAVILLE NEWS A farewell party in honor of Ken Esplin, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Esplin, was held in the ward recreation hall Monday night. Ken left for induction into military service April 15. A fine program and dance was enjoyed and light refreshments were served. He was presented with a gift from members of ihe ward. Joan Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Williams of ls Angeles, spent a few days here visiting with relatives. Barbara Williams has returned home after attending the winter quarter at Brigham Young University Uni-versity at Provo. Mrs. Maida Christensen underwent under-went surgery at the Iron County hospital last week. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Ence went to St. George to attend the B Y U a capella choir concert, Mrs. Ence's sister, Miss Marilyn Roun-dy, Roun-dy, was one of the singers. Mr. and Mrs. La Vere Carter of Prvo were week end visitors visit-ors here with Mr. and Mrs. Junius Jun-ius Williams. Mrs. La Donna Roundy and daughter Cicky Lynn of California Cali-fornia are here visiting her mother, Mrs. Vaughn Isom. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Williams of Washington, Utah, were Sun day visitor with their mother, Mrs. Amanda Williams. Mrs. Lillie Williams suffered a severely cut hand during the week. Six stitches were required to close the cut. The injury occurred oc-curred when a knife she was using to cut meat slipped. Little Deborah Williams spent a day last week In New Harmony Har-mony with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Pace. Neta and Clara Williams of Henderson, Nev., visited relatives here. Mrs. Williams entered the hospital at Cedar City and underwent un-derwent surgery. Ronald Williams, while marking mark-ing sheep had the misfortune to cut his leg. It required three stitches to close the wound. |
