Show Quarterly Conference Set May 2-3 With Missionary Theme Missionary work will be the theme of the coming quarterly conference of the Parowan St ike which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 2 and 3, according ac-cording to an announcement by Parowan Stake President W. Clair Rowley. The first meeting of the conference con-ference will convene at 6:30 p. m. Saturday, May 2, in the Parowan Paro-wan First -Second ward chapel with the stake mission president in charge. Those expected to be present at this meeting are the stake presidency, high council members, ward bishoprics, all stake missionaries, Melchizedek Pricsth'xl quorum officers, executive execu-tive officers of the Sunday School, Relief Society and Mutual Improvement Im-provement Association. This will be followed at 8 p. m. by a meeting for investigators, investigat-ors, friends and inactive members mem-bers of the church in the stake, with all of the above mentioned persons also expected to attend. This meeting will be held in the same place. General sessions of the conference confer-ence will be held on Sunday at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. in the Parowan Paro-wan Third ward chapel. Music for these sessions will be furnished fur-nished by the Singing Mothers organization of the stake under the direction of Mrs. Mary O. Topham with Mrs. Orna Johnson John-son as accompanist. The M. I. A. session of the conference con-ference will be held Sunday evening, eve-ning, featuring a musical program pro-gram with hour and place yet to be announced. |
