Show Panel Discussion Is Open to Public At Educational Fair A panel discussion on "Vocational "Voca-tional Opportunities in Southern Utah" will be open to the general gen-eral public at Branch Agricultural Agricultur-al college Friday at 2:30 p. m. in the college auditorium as part of the education fair Friday and Saturday. Outstanding men and women in various fields will be participants parti-cipants on the panel according to Blaine Johnson, chairman of the fair. Frank Dalley, vocational vocation-al guidance director for the Utah State Employment Service at Cedar Ce-dar City will represent his office of-fice on the panel. A. M Maughan, superintendent of Millard County Coun-ty schools will represent the field of education; Kumen S. Gardner, Cedar City stockman and manager of the 1953 Southern South-ern Utah Livestock Show will represent the field of agriculture; agricul-ture; G. Merrill Shaw, assistant professor of metalwork and engineering en-gineering drawing at Utah State Agricultural college will represent repre-sent vocational training; Julius V. Madscn, former bishop of the Springdale ward, who supervised the opening of the Zioncraft village vil-lage Enterprises, will add his experiences in providing self-employment self-employment on a community-wide community-wide scale. Barbara Brown, Cedar high school senior will participate partici-pate on the panel as a representative represen-tative of youth. Prof. D. C. Schmutz, chairman of the division divi-sion of agriculture at B A C will be chairman of the panel discussion. |
