Show Vernal Glenda Landon Phone 789-2417 I W1IIMIII MIIIM I New Davis arrival A new son arrived Friday to Mr. and Mrs. Kerry (Pam) Davis of Vernal. He is their first child, weighed 7',2 pounds, and is 21' 2 inches long. He is also the first grandchild in the Harley Hales family, and they say he is the best Christmas present they could possibly have. Students from SUSC in Cedar City who are home for the Christmas vacation are: Carolyn Hales, Kathy Price, Harilee Oscarson, Diane Morrell, Sydney Workman, Lori Thacker, Kathy Beacham, and Chad La brum. The following Vernal students at BYU in Provo are at home for the holidays: Jan Williams, Jan Goodrich, Bonnie, Paul, and Wendell Francis; Todd Powell, Marilyn Stagg, Mark Anderson, Kevin Murray, Steve Ellis, Mark Sheffer, Paula Sowards, and Allison Burraston. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nelson are isiting their parents for the holidays, the Arvin Nelsons and the Al Tassainers. Robert is a student at BYU and Vicki is commuting to Salt Lake where she is teaching in the Jordan district. Holiday visitors arriving at the Iiurence Fox home Friday night were their two daughters, Connie from Oakland, California, who works at an advertising agency there, and Marsha who is working as a secretary in Salt Lake. Marsha also brought her roommate. Jean Ann Lemons as a guest. Sue Brown and Marlin Johnson, students from CEU in Price are home for the holidays. The Brian O'Neils are enjoying visits from several family members. Mrs. Michael O'Neil (Debra Sorenson) and two children, Chris and Lisa, and Mrs. Kenneth (Brenda) French with her two children. Ross and Rebecca, came from California last week. Mrs. Eugene (Connie) Dye and young son, Jeremy, came from Idaho Falls. Their husbands are expected to arrive Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Preston (Marilyn) Crofts and children, Heather and Elizabeth, came from Detroit. Mr. and Mrs. Gary (Amber) Huber are visiting their parents the Doyle Hubers and the Lamond Tullises for Christmas. Gary is a student at CEU in Price and Amber is working for the Division of Wildlife Resources there. Mr. and Mrs. Danny (Melinda) Jensen and their young son, Preston, l1;, are visiting for the holiday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jensen, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Wardle. Danny is a student at University of Utah. Dwight Merkley, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Merkley, and a student at U of U, is spending the holidays at home. Mr. and Mrs. Shane Riding are home for the school vacation with his parents, the Fred Ridings. He is attending the U of U. Delo M. Rowley and Alta A. Rowley, hw, Vernal to Timothy 11.
