Show Management course offered at UBAVC The Uintah Basin Area Vocational Center announced this week they would again conduct a twelve week Seminar on Principles of Management. The previous seminar held last year was termed outstanding and many requests were received for a repeat of this program, reported a spokesman for the Vocational Center. The Management Seminar will again be jointly sponsored by the UBAVC and theUSU Education Center. Coordinator 'or the Seminar will be Beverly Evans of the UBAVC Business Dept. Interested In-terested persons may register for the entire twelve sessions and by paying a small additional fee receive USU credit, or if desired registration will be accepted for single sessions. According to Evans twelve key areas that are crucial to successful management experience will be addressed ad-dressed by highly qualified experts in eacharea. Several local presenters will Participate as well as specialists from u'ah State University and Utah Technical College at Provo, Utah. The first Seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, January 9, in Room B-06 at me Uintah Basin Area Vocational Center located in Roosevelt. The seminars will be conducted on successive suc-cessive Wednesdays through March 12, ginning at 6:30 p.m. Each session Wl" end at 9 p.m. Registration is now being accepted w Winter quarter at UBAVC for this Management Seminar and other Programs. Registration for individual sessions will be accepted on the evening of the presentation. The Seminar has ken submitted for approval towards continuing education credits for persons per-sons in the nursing profession. |
