Show ARRANGE MEMORIAL TO JAMES SULLIVAN NEW YORK. Sept. 18. At a special meeting tonight of the executive committee com-mittee of Uie American Olympic committee commit-tee a committee of three was appointed to arrange for a suitable memorial to the memory of the late James E. Sullivan, who had acted as secretary of the American Ameri-can Olympic committee since its organization. organiza-tion. The members appointed were Justice Jus-tice Barlow S. Weeks. Julian W. Curtis and Gustavus T. Kirby. An appreciation of Mr. Snjlllvan's services serv-ices to athletic sports was prepared and Professor William Sloane, Everet Janzen Wendell and Alfred J. Lill were appointed a committee to draft resolutions to bo presented to the family. Justice Weeks was elected secretary pro tern, of the American Olympic committee com-mittee to till the vacancy caused by Mr. Sullivan's death. |
