Show BULL MOOSE BUSY. Resignation of One Man From Chairmanship Chairman-ship Won't Interfere With Campaign. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Sept. IS. With F. J. Hender-shot, Hender-shot, one of the original members of the party, at their head as county chairman, the Progressives of Weber county are making active preparations for the launching of their campaign. Mr. Hen-dershot Hen-dershot succeeds Thomas Lundy, who was named as temporary chairman upon the resignation of J. G. S. Abels. Mr. Abels has since declared himself to be back In the ranks of the Republicans, giving giv-ing the fusion of the Progressives and Democrats in this county as his reason for the flop. Robert Agee has been selected select-ed as secretary of the Progressive committee. com-mittee. ' ! In addition to being the chairman of the county committee. Mr. Hendershot is a candidate on the fusion ticket for the state legislature. The Progressive chairman chair-man has announced that he will select headquarters at once and open the committee com-mittee offices early next week. The Progressives Pro-gressives propose to make a canvass of the voters in the county vand operate a campaign apart from the Democrats, although al-though the candidates are equally divided on the same ticket. |
