Claude Coray, 748 Twenty-third street, a former instructor in mathematics mathe-matics at the Ogden high school, but now a member of tho aviation section, signal service, is in Ogden for a few days furlough from Fort Douglas. Mr. Coray Joined the service a few days prior to his brother Francis Coray and he reported that Francis is now on his way to England, although having hav-ing been in tho service barely a month. Mr. Coray has taken and passed the examination for the flying division of the aviation service and expects to bo transferred to a ground school for instruction in-struction although he has received no intimation as to his next move. He has been stationed at Fort Douglas awaiting await-ing orders, since entering the service. . The flying branch of the army Is the most fascinating, he says, and many of the recently enlisted men are eagor to ontcr this sen-ice. His brother's knowledge of sas engines, en-gines, Mr. Coray says he bolieves, secured se-cured for him tho sudden orders to go to England to enter active service Immediately. Both young men aro especially es-pecially well qualified for the service as they have received technical university uni-versity training. |
