Wash., Jan. 20 Salt Lako and Utah members of the nationnl army now In Camp Lewis are not going to become lonesome If the visitors from their home town nnd stato continue to arrive ar-rive as they have In tho past week. Every day one or two Salt Lake residents resi-dents have registered at the Hostess house, a meeting place for soldiers and their sweethearts and friends, conducted con-ducted by tho Y. W. C. A., and have been able to locate their soldier friends through the good offices of the Institution. Institu-tion. Yesterday It was J. W. McPher-son, McPher-son, 961 South Second West street, Salt Lake City, who found Camp Lewis a big city, and was unable to locate his friend, Edward Wren, E company, 405th telegraph battalion, until aided by the Hostess house. A. P. Pautsch, 5-10 South Ninth East street, visited H. F. Llnd of the 405th telegraph battalion, signal corps. |
