Show In me is S VAUDEVILLE SHOW Plans are under way by the local Knights of Columbus to give a vaudeville vaude-ville show for the benefit of the Knights of Columbus War Camp Fund. At the national convention of the Knights of Columbus in Chicago last August, it was decided to raise an additional ad-ditional $2,000,000 by popular subscription, subscrip-tion, $1,000,000 having already been subscribed by th'o order, for the purpose pur-pose of establishing recreation crimps for the American soldiers in training at home and abroad. With this end In view, tho Ogden Knights have decided to present a vaudeville performance some time early in February. Already the work of the Knights of Columbus recreation camps has received re-ceived considerabble favorable press comment and. in the eastern part of the country, donations In encouraging numbers have been received but so far the intermountain country has not made much of a showing. M. J. O'Connor, local Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, in making a statement yesterday, said: "Much has been accomplished by the Red Cross and other organizations in securing contributions, but wo propose pro-pose to give the people something worth while for their money. Tho cause is the best, for we are providing places of recreation and education for! American soldiers at all training! camps and cantonments."
