South Mission. Their farewell was held Sunday, Oct. 18 at the Val Verda 2nd Ward, 2651 S. 500 W., Bountiful. ELDER GEORGE Elder Michael A. George, son of Bob and Helen George, has accepted a mission call to the California Cali-fornia Fresno Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. He will enter the MTC Wednesday, Oct. 28. He will speak in Sacrament meeting Sunday, Oct. 25 at 10:30 a.m. at the 12th Ward Chapel, 1450 N. 350 W., Bountiful. Mike is a gi duate of Viewmont High School af. 1 Seminary. He has attended Weber State for a year. He will be at home at 1468 N. 400 W. after 1 p.m. Sunday to visit with friends and family. A ELDER PARKINSON Elder Steven Cluff Parkinson, son of Lynn and Pamela Schulz, has accepted a call to serve in the Geneva, Switzerland Mission. His farewell will be Sunday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. in the Orchard 12th Ward, located at 3707 S. 800 W., Bountiful. He will enter the MTC Nov. 14. Steve graduated from Bountiful High School and has been attending attend-ing the University of Utah for the past year. Friends and family are invited to visit with Steve at his home, located lo-cated at 846 W. 3600 S., Bountiful, following the meeting. ELDER MARTIN Elder Robert Loren Martin, son of Loren D. and Marilyn M. Martin, Mar-tin, has returned home after successfully suc-cessfully serving a two-year mission mis-sion for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the New Zealand, Auckland Mission. He will report his mission Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. in the Bountiful 30th Ward, 2200 S. 600 E. Friends and relatives are invited to his home following fol-lowing the meeting. Walton Jr., son of Jim and Sharol Walton, has accepted a call to serve as a missionary mis-sionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Missouri St. Louis Mission. He will enter the MTC Oct. 28. His farewell will be Sunday, Oct. 25 at 11:45 a.m. in the Bountiful 29th Ward, located at 1200 E. Bountiful Hills Drive, Bountiful. Jim graduated from Bountiful High School and Bountiful Seminary Semi-nary in 1987. Family and friends are invited to visit with him that afternoon at his home. ELDER CARLSON Elder Shane L. Carlson has accepted a call to serve in the Guatemala City, Guatemala Mission. Mis-sion. Elder Carlson enters the MTC Oct. 28. His farewell will be held Sunday, Oct. 25 at 9 a.m. at the Bountiful 11th Ward, 1950 S. Orchard Dr., Bountiful. ' I J MKT I S PAULA OSIEK Paula Osiek has been called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Norway, Oslo mission. Paula is a 1984 graduate of Woods Cross High. She has attended Utah State University and is a student at the University of Utah. Her farewell will be held Oct. 25 at 2:20 p.m. at the Orchard 4th Ward Chapel, 55 E. 350 N., North Salt Lake. She will enter the MTC Nov. 11. There will be an open house at her home following the meeting. ELDER HARRISON Elder Briant Ray Harrison, son of Kay Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. Shirl Ray Harrison, has accepted a call to serve in the Dallas Texas Mission. He will enter the MTC Nov. 4.
