Dowdle, son of Jack and Barbara Dowdle, has returned re-turned home after successfully completing a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Texas-Lubbock Texas-Lubbock and also Texas-Dallas missions. He will speak on his mission Oct. 25 at 1 :20 p.m. in the Woods Cross 8th Ward, 1450 S. 350 W., Bountiful. ELDER HAMMER Daron Hammer, son of Keith and Vonda Hammer, will be returning home this week from a successful mission to the Kentucky, Louisville Louisvil-le mission. His report of his mission will be given Oct. 25 at the Bountiful 9th Ward LDS Church, 585 E. Center Street at 1 p.m. He would welcome anyone at the church or at his home. ELDER SHEPHERD Elder Kirk Shepherd has returned re-turned home after serving two years in the Japan Sappo mission. His homecoming will be Oct. 25 at 10:45 a.m. in the 46th Ward Chapel, 1320 E. 1975 S. ELDER WALKER Elder Daniel Scott Walker, son of Sanford and Elma Walker, has accepted a call to serve in the Missouri Mis-souri Independence Mission, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dan is an Eagle Scout and a 1 986 graduate of Bountiful High School. He attended one semester at Ricks College. He recently finished basic training in the Marine Corps Reserves. Re-serves. His farewell will be held Oct. 25 at 9 a.m. in the Bountiful 32nd Ward at 1825 S. 800 E. Friends and family are invited to attend the meeting and visit with Dan at his home at 1040 E. Arlington Way, Bountiful, during the day. He will enter the MTC Nov. 4. Elder Jeffrey Kent Larsen, son of Kent T. and Grace M. Larsen, has recently returned home after successfully serving a mission for the LDS Church in the Peru, Lima South Mission. Friends and family are invited to attend his homecoming report Sunday, Sun-day, Oct. 25 at 3:15 p.m. in the Bountiful 44th Ward Chapel, 1 190 E. Bountiful Hills Drive. ELDER MITCHELL Elder Stuart N. Mitchell, son of Ralph and Ella Mitchell, has accepted a call to serve in the Mississippi, Mis-sissippi, Jackson mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. Stuart is a 1986 graduate of Woods Cross High School and Seminary. He was a member of the Woods Cross High marching band and active in the drama department. depart-ment. He served as vice president of the Thespian Council his senior year and also was Wally Wildcat. This past year he attended SUSC in Cedar City where he majored in drama. Elder Mitchell will enter the Mission Mis-sion Training Center Oct. 28 and his farewell will be held Sunday, Oct. 25 at 11 a.m. at the Orchard 3rd Ward, 261 E. Center Street, North Salt Lake.
