Tickets are being sold by the members of the choir department, but hurry to get your tickets, they will go very fast! The leads in the musical have been announced: Daddy War-bucks, War-bucks, Bryan Benard; Grace Far-rell, Far-rell, Darlene Whipple; Annie, Jill Jenson; Miss Hannigan, Melissa Terry; Rooster, Marc Alley; and Lillie, Becca Bastian. Congratulations! Congratula-tions! The musical will be great, so plan to come in January. And again, good luck to the football foot-ball team tomorrow night against Viewmont. Be there! By JILL JENSON We hope you all enjoyed your deer hunting weekend. It seemed to be a success. For all of you who now have your deer and don't know what to do with it, we'd like to give you some pointers in the process of gutting and skinning your deer. First of all, find one very sharp knife and make a large incision the entire distance of the deer's belly, being careful not to puncture any major organs. After this, peel back the skin and proceed to remove the entrails. In the meantime keep all the major delicacies in a separate pile that you wish to use for your gourmet cooking (this includes liver, heart, kidneys, etc.). When you have all the meat you can eat, stop, clean up the mess and deposit the remains re-mains in your neighbor's garbage. (The above instructions on cleaning clean-ing and skinning your deer have been provided by Ryan Wilcox, ghostwriter to Jill Jenson.) Please don't think that we are crude and distasteful in providing you this information. This is simply dedicated to Matt Reynolds, "The Mighty Hunter." Now that we have your attention (I hope we didn't lose it!) we would like to express to all our sophomores sopho-mores how much we love 'em! The Sophomore officers have done a fantastic job in providing some fun activities including a "state your favorite state" day on Tuesday. The Sophomore assembly will be held tomorrow after first period (at 9.05 a.m. and everyone is invited to attend. An incredible stomp will be held that night, Friday, Oct. 23 with Super Stomp providing the music. It will be immediately following fol-lowing our victory over Viewmont on our football field at 7:30 p.m. Good luck, guys! We would also like to invite our friends from Viewmont to come with us early to the game (about 6:15 p.m.), save a seat, listen to music from a D.J. on the field, and have fun socializing. Congratulations to our volleyball team, cross country team, girls tennis ten-nis team, Sophomore and JV football foot-ball teams and our Varsity football team again for their great games. |
