Show Evening classes offered As surely as the fall winds start to blow, just as surely it must be time for community education educa-tion classes to start up again. A full slate of courses, from Tai-Chi exercise to floral design, is scheduled in several locations loca-tions across the county. Registration will get under way within the next week at some schools and a bit later elsewhere. Here's a look at the schedule for south county: --Woods Cross High registration will be conducted con-ducted at the first class in most cases. Courses start the week of Sept. 22. Registration will be ii the main administration building. Courses include aerobic fitness, auto maintenance, mainte-nance, beginning and intermediate calligraphy, color analysis for wardrobe and home; ballet and creative pre-dance; French, Spanish, guitar, gymnastics, basic photography and adv-snced adv-snced techniques in color photography. Other classes include floral design, square c ancing, super-sewing seminar, Tai-Chi, speed tuild shorthand, typing, woodworking and word processing. The floral design class, for example, will run f ve weeks from Sept. 24-Oct. 29 on Wednes-cays, Wednes-cays, 6-8 p.m. The course is designed to make f oral design easy and includes arranging with ' little or no knowledge required" as hands-on i istruction is provided. Also offered there is an Adult High school of English, mathematics, U.S. history and drivers education. Courses include: porcelain doll painting, personal per-sonal computers, wood shop, rhythmic aerobics, aero-bics, safe and warm cold weather camping, ceramics, beginning and intermediate gymnastics, gymnas-tics, women's volleyball, auto mechanics, preschool pre-school gymnastics. Among courses is "You're Never Too Old", focusing on women who want to return to college col-lege or work, ranging from interviewing to time management and study techniques. The course starts Oct. 15, runs six weeks and costs $20. "Eat Better for Less!" also costs $20 and runs six weeks. It will dealve into getting more out of your grocery dollar, comparison shopping, couponing, making your own mixes and menu . planning. Classes featured are auto tune-up, basic interior in-terior design, computers, computers for young people, drapery making, fantastic science, tumbling and gymnastics, money management.
