Show Video' library proposed FARMINGTON Although it's not formally organized yet, the new Davis County Friends of the Library already has its sights set on a fund-raising project. Trustees have expressed interest in backing the new video cassette collection, says Library Director Jeanne Layton. The collection will be based in the new Layton library when it opens in March, 1988. A story outlining the program is included as part of the library budget and also appears in this issue. "We're excited to help with something new," says Jam's Webb, president-elect of the Friends group. The proposal was presented to them in a recent trustees meeting of the fledgling group that is currently writing by-laws and prepared to incorporate. incorpo-rate. "Our number one question will be how to raise funds" for the project, she says, noting one trustee suggested those wishing to donate a video could have their name embossed on the cassette jacket as a momento. Brochures are being prepared that will be placed in the various va-rious libraries explaining the Friends group.
