Show Official 'pays dues5; gains state position Ls- f . 1 I Xii 1 By JUDY JENSEN, WOODS CROSS Councilman Wayne Saltzgiver was recently elected to serve a two-year term on the twelve-member board of directors direc-tors of the Utah League of Cities and Towns. The board represents the 190 active ac-tive member cities and towns located lo-cated statewide. Saltzgiver said he is excited about the opportunity to serve on the board. He said it will give him "fresh ideas on how to accomplish the goals my own city has established." . Saltzgiver is employed at Mountain Moun-tain Fuel Supply as Director of Residential Re-sidential and Commercial Retail Sales. He attended the University of Utah and Westminster College where he received a B.S. in business busi-ness administration and ec&nomy and a masters degree in management. manage-ment. He has served as a city councilman council-man since January and said he chose to run for office because he feels everyone should "pay their civic rent." He and his wife Helen WAYNE SALTZGIVER aro their four children have been residents of Woods Cross for 14 years. "I love Woods Cross, it is a fine little town and I want to be sure I do my part to be sure it stays a fine place to live," he said. |
