Show LeetonBennet Mrs. Fern Houston Mrs. Francis Bowen is in Salt Lake City, visiting ana caring for her daughter, Mrs. Sherwood Butterfield, who has a baby boy born Saturday. Mrs. Bowen will remain for some time. J. P. Rudy is visiting with his daughter, Mrs. Winfred Long. He is 90 years old and travels alone and spends his winters working in the temple. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bowen were in church and had their baby daughter christened Sunday Sun-day giving her the name of Barbara Ann. She was christened christen-ed by her great grandfather, John J. Horrocks. High counpilman Presley Timothy was accompanied by his brother-in-law, Boyd Soren-son, Soren-son, to visit church. Mr. Timothy will be with us for the rest of the year. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Horrocks Hor-rocks visited in Vernal Saturday. Satur-day. Mrs. Phyliss Jensen and Mrs. Ha Allred of Salt Lake visited Thursday and Friday with their sister Mrs. Otis Horrocks. Mr. and Mrs. Dell Singleton of American Fork visited Wed. and Thur. at the Clair Haslem home. They are friends of long standing. Miss Lida Hartle was called to the bedside of . her mother, Mrs. Pricilla Hartle of Vernal. Lida returned to' San Francisco Sunday after visiting with her sister Mrs. John Haslem, and remaining with her mother as long as necessary. She has employment em-ployment in San Francosco. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tidwell went to Duchesne Sunday to visit Mr. Tidwell's father, who is bedfast, having suffered a stroke. Mr. John Bolton who has been ill for some time, is feeling better and is slowly gaining strength. Wayne and Billie Haslem made a business trip to Salt Lake Tuesday and returned Wednesday. Mrs. Carl Hall went to Salt Lake to visit her father last week. Mr. Hartle is in very poor health. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Henderson of Salt Lake City were out to visit Mr. W. H. Coltharp. Mr. Coltharp always enjoys company and is slowly improving. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bowen enjoyed the fireplace and bar-beque bar-beque at the George Houston home Friday. Just before mailing this colum word came that Mrs. John Haslem Has-lem passed away Sunday night, having had pneumonia. |
