Show Former loka Pair Weds In Salt Lake City , Announcement is made this week of the marriage of Miss Karen Yvonne Wol-kman, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. H. V. Workman Work-man of Salt Lake City, and Larry M. Hardman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hardman, also of Salt Lake City, the marriage taking place at the home of the bride's parents on July 2, with President John D. Hill officiating. officiat-ing. An impressive candlelight ceremony united the couple, who are both foremrly from loka, having resided in Salt Lake City for a year. A wedding supper was served to thirty-two guests at the bride's home following the ceremony. The newlyweds were complimented compli-mented at a wedding reception on July 17 at the Hardman home, and on July 26 they were again honored at a reception recep-tion at the bride's home. For the occasion the bride chose a wedding gown of pink satin with overskirt of net and matching stole. Her bouquet was of roses. The new Mrs. Hardman is a high school graduate and has been attending the Excelsis Beauty School for the past six months. Mr. Hardman attended the Roosevelt schools and is now employed by Ketchum's Building Build-ing and Supply Company. The young couple will make their home in Salt Lake City." |
