Show WHITEROCKS Madeena Smith Teachers Honored For Primary Work The ward Primary held their Home Builders program on Sunday Sun-day evening. The program songs and talks were given by the girls and their teachers. Two five-year awards for service in the Primary were given Mrs. Migion Harvey and Madeena Smith. One four-year award for teacher of Home Builders was given Migion Harvey. A birthday party for little Gloria Wars was held at the ranger station one day this week. Gloria was six years old. Miss Betty Moosman is visiting visit-ing her sister, Mrs. Lela Ander-ton Ander-ton in Tooele. She will stay a month. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Christensen and son, of Montana, visited the last two weeks with Dee's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Marinus Christensen. They also went on a fishing trip back to the lakes on the mountains with Mr. and Mrs. Glen Killian, of Roosevelt. Miss Georgia Walkup is in Salt Lake for medical care. She has been quite ill for some time. Wade, Vaughn and Lyle Par-rish, Par-rish, of Roosevelt, stayed with their grandmother, Mrs. Elbert Smith, while their mother went to Uinta Canyon with a group of Junior Gleaner girls from the Ballard ward. The Bill Hoops family, Elbert Smith family, Mrs. Roberta Crozier and ' sons, Dennis and Lynn, Mrs. Ednal Simmons and son, Clay, attended the Woolley reunion, held at the Lodge Pole Park in Daniel's Canyon, over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Orval Hoops, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Pike and son, Clifford, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Wal-lace Twitchell spent the 24th of July in Manila with relatives. Mrs. Matilda Moosman is spending a few days in Salt Lake with her sister, Mrs. Jane Searles. NYBERG REUNION The John August Nyberg family reunion was held at Whiterocks on July 24th. Fifty members of the family were present. A picnic lunch and games were enjoyed. |
