X$!h hx Stealing- Two 17-year-old Denver, Colo, youths who are AWOL from the Air Force Base at Fort Ord, Caiif., were taken into custody Sunday about noon by police officers in Crajg, Colo., and are charged with stealing 2 Fords. i The boys were driving, a 1954 Ford belonging to Ron Harrison, newly appointed 'manager of the Moon Lake Electric Association, Asso-ciation, when they were apprehended appre-hended by Craig police. The hoys stole the Harrison car from in front of his home, north of the hospital in Roosevelt, Sunday Sun-day morning about 2 o'clock. Actually, they traded another stolen Ford, which they picked up in Heber City, Saturday eve-ning eve-ning about 11 o'clock. It belonged be-longed to Duke Stevenson, of Heber. According to Roe McDonald, Roosevelt police chief, the boys will be charged under the Dyer Act. However, there is a possibility possi-bility they will have to face srmy court marshall for leaving army camp without permission. |
